We aim to describe all of our items accurately. A full refund will be given to any customer who is unhappy for whatever reason. Just inform us by email or telephone within 14 days of receiving an item and the transaction will be cancelled. We want all of our customers to be happy. Please note that image dimensions refer to the photograph itself, not the mount. We have also departed from the conventional practice when it comes to naming any given photographer. For example, we might describe the author of a photograph as ‘Felix Beato Studio’, rather than ‘Felix Beato’. We believe it is rarely possible to be certain that a photograph was taken by a given photographer, rather than an assistant or someone else from the studio. A ‘tinted’ photograph means, unless otherwise indicated, one that has been hand-coloured with water-colours shortly after its production.
